Pitillo Circo de Alegria

The circus is in town. Well, not the kind of circus you would see in the states, but the Peruvian version.  There were no elephants, lions, horses or trapeze acts.  We went with the Hawses Tuesday night after the temple.  We weren't expecting much but we were all pleasantly surprised at how fun and entertaining it was.  We laughed and were amazed at the fantastic entertainers.  It was such a fun night, I thought it deserved its own post.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the tickets were two for the price of one.  We sat in the red seats; cost about $14 per person.  We definitely got our money's worth.

Wayne and Bill can't contain their excitement to enter the tent.
Let the show begin.

A quick selfie as we wait for the show to start.
Cotton candy, popcorn, candied apples and
LAYS Potato Chips?

These guys from South Africa performed several numbers.
They were fantastic.

Pitillo was very talented.  He must have played 8 different instruments.
He also did a lot of "clowning" around.

Pitillo and his "pooch" had a great act.
Our South African boys again.
These girls were from Mongolia and were so limber.

Here they are again.
Bill and Wayne talking to Pitillo after the show. He speaks English
because he toured on the East Coast.
That's all folks.
