We took our first bus ride to church which cost one sol. This is probably the closest building to the temple. We really enjoyed this ward. Several workers from the temple were there and the Marlers were also visiting this Sunday. I played the piano. It wasn't in tune and the pedals don't work but they said it was better than singing acapella.
This is the home ward of the Rodriguez Family. Brother and Sister Rodriguez work with us in the temple and their son, Carlos, is the assistant recorder.

We are really enjoying getting to know so many wonderful people in Trujillo.
Diana Guzman baked us this loaf of banana bread and left it at the temple for us. It was a real treat after a long day at the temple on Friday. |
