The Process Begins....

In September of 2014 we met with our Bishop, Greg Christiansen, to begin the process of filling out our mission papers.  We submitted our papers before Christmas and met with our Stake President, Bryan King, in January 2015.  

The call didn't come as fast as we would have liked so to fill the void we made a trip to Missouri in February to see Brent and Amanda and their 9 children.

Then we drove on to Angola, Indiana so see my sister, Linda, and brother-in-law Don who are serving in the Ohio Cincinnati Mission.  It was a long trip, traveled 3500 miles, but the weather was great.  We were able to travel between snowstorms.

                                 We received our call on Friday, February 27, 2014.

We are thrilled to be able to serve in the Trujillo, Peru Temple for 18 months.  This is a brand new temple in an area where Bill served 6 months of his mission 50 years ago. We report to the Salt Lake Temple on Monday June 15, 2015 for 3 days of training before flying to Trujillo.  They dedicate the temple on Sunday, June 21st.  We are so excited to work in this temple and serve the people of Peru.
